Terms of Service
By using Kin Iok, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of service
Kin Iok is a workflow SaaS for practitioners, providing administrative tools for booking, treatment packages, payment logging and recall reminders. This service is not a medical records system — it does not store treatment notes or medical records and does not connect to national health insurance systems — and it is not a payment platform — it does not collect payments or process client card transactions on your behalf. Payment records are bookkeeping entries you log manually.
2. Subscriptions & refunds
New accounts get a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. If you haven’t subscribed by the end of the trial, your account is never charged automatically (no card is ever on file), and your data is kept intact and is not deleted.
Monthly plans can be canceled anytime and take effect at the end of the current billing period; upgrade/downgrade fees are prorated.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this service for unlawful purposes, upload malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or data. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the legality of any client data you enter.
4. Limitation of liability
This service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service; total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months. We work hard to keep the service stable and back up data regularly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Privacy Policy
Your data belongs only to you. Here’s how we collect, use and protect it.
1. What data we collect
Account data: studio name, your display name, email and password (stored encrypted).
Operational data: the appointments, packages, client profiles and payment records you create.
Technical data: login times, device and browser information, used for security and service improvement.
Data is used only to provide and maintain the service, send system notifications, offer customer support, and comply with legal requirements. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising unrelated to this service.
2. Data controller role
For the client personal data you enter (your clients’ names, contact details, notes and the like), you are the data controller, and Kin Iok acts as the data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your clients and fulfilling your notice and protection obligations under applicable data protection law.
3. Storage & deletion
Data is stored in an encrypted, access-controlled cloud environment, and all data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Your data belongs only to you — we never sell it and never use it for purposes unrelated to this service.
You can request account deletion at any time; once confirmed, we remove your operational data within a reasonable period (except where retention is legally required). Cookies are used only to maintain your login session and for basic analytics, and can be managed in your browser settings.
